I wanted to add one more inspirational piece of wisdom I received from a sweet senior. She was 100 years old and happy to give advice. I have a chalk board and one of those changeable letter boards that I have been putting little diddies that I find and love on these for years. My 3 boys know to read these and that mom loves those kinds of true life lessons. Another that I wanted to share was “Begin with the end in mind” How do you want people to remember you? Just WOW! Thank you for these words. I wish I’d seen #44 “It takes as much bravery to walk away from something as it does to stay.” years ago. I made a big change after almost 33 years, and I’ve been judged harshly. I’d just like to add… not everyone knows a person’s story when passing judgment, and sadly many people don’t care to know a person’s story as they continue to inflict painful ridicule. I’ve been at an emotional rock bottom because of this and almost let it swallow me. Find “your person” to help you! Don’t give up, ever! I almost did. I find my joy in the kitchen and I threw everything I had into that and just started a new bakery out of my home. You’re right about “find something you love and make a career out of it”. This isn’t quite my career YET! But I have a vision.
