Hi there! Yes, you can certainly use Bisquick, but Paula has her own baking mix available here: https://pauladeenshop.com/products/mix-original-recipe?_pos=1&_sid=25c989d22&_ss=r

I know its my fault mostly but as I was following directions, it states under Cobbler ingredients 2 3/4 mix and that what I put in only to find out that was too much and then I went back and looked and it says divided. But then under the Topping ingredients it shows another 2 cups so Im confused why it showed the full amount under the Cobbler ingredients as well. I think this should be corrected as I wasted my peaches and other ingredients that I had already put in the bowl. Disappointed

The center of the cobbler is actually supposed to be gooey, not firm!

Only thing I changed was I didn’t add the extra bisquick in the peach mixture it dries it out. Never added blueberries but will try it in there next time I make it.

Most, if not all, of the items are in my pantry and I use frozen blueberries. This is a quick and easy home made cobbler that always gets rave reviews. I even substituted gluten-free baking mix for the big name brand that I usually use, and my daughter-in-law (who is gluten intolerant) absolutely loves this, and it tastes awesome. Put some whipped cream on top of this and its a perfect warm dessert in the fall/winter and a great room temperature/chilled dessert for the warmer months.

Loved the blueberries and want to try it with blackberries next time. The dutch oven definitely made a difference.
